Due to current Government guidelines, arrangements are being made primarily over phone and by email to ensure safety and lower numbers of people in the building at any given time. This is not how we like to arrange funerals, as we like to get to know our families we look after, but we must also keep them safe. For those who would prefer, we are slowly trying to accommodate an initial meeting in our premises (with certain procedures adhered to), with the majority of the process still being done over phone and email so safety can still be managed.
We can arrange for paperwork to be delivered by post if preferred. We realise that this is not ideal and hope that the situation returns to normality quickly.
We are now accommodating viewings of the deceased, if safe to do so, with certain numbers of people.
It is also worth noting that services at Crownhill Crematorium can be webcast, so that anyone who can't attend a service does not need to miss out completely. We have also been advised by the crematorium, following a council directive, that a maximum of 17 mourners can attend the service. We can discuss other options to completely tailor what you require.
